A Perfect Day at the Cruyff Foundation Open Day

25 September 2024 was a perfect day! It was time for the Cruyff Foundation Open Day. 🤸 ♂️ 1,200 children - mostly with disabilities - came to the Olympic Stadium and tried out more than 25 different sports. Racing with Frank Rijkaard, hockey with Sarina Wiegman or wheelchair basketball with Edwin van der Sar. It was all possible! 🚴‍♂️ 🏑 🏀

1,200 Children Explore Sports with Legendary Athletes

Markets need to change. They need to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

If the children found a sport they like, they can find out with Uniek Sporten if they can also do this in their own neighborhood. Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur was also present and can help children with financial resources for this sport if they are not available at home. In this way, we not only organize a great sports day, but we also make an impact! The 20-20-2 Eye Care Alliance was there to explain the benefits of applying 20-20-2 rule.
